Accessibility Statement

At GILI7 we see website accessibility as part of the service itself, and we work to make sure every woman can browse, read and order independently and comfortably, regardless of her browsing means or the assistive technology she uses.

The standard the site is made accessible to

The site is made accessible in accordance with the Israeli standard SI 5568, which adopts the web content accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.0 at level AA, and in most elements also meets the requirements of WCAG 2.1 at level AA. The accessibility work was done in accordance with the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013.

What was made accessible on the site

• Full keyboard navigation - all links, buttons and forms are reachable with the Tab key, without a mouse. A clear, high-contrast focus indicator accompanies movement between elements, and the cart and sign-up windows can be closed with the Escape key.
• Skip link - a "Skip to main content" link appears on the first Tab press and lets you skip the navigation menu.
• Semantic structure - region tags (header, nav, main, footer) and a continuous, valid heading hierarchy are used, so screen readers can navigate by page structure.
• Accessible forms - every form field has a fixed, visible text label linked to it, error messages are read automatically, and phone and name fields are marked for autofill.
• Image descriptions - every meaningful image has alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Contrast and typography - text colours were chosen to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1. Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content or breaking the layout.
• Respect for user preferences - the site respects the operating system setting to reduce motion and disables movement and transitions accordingly, and increases contrast when such a setting is requested.
• Personal adjustment menu - a permanent accessibility button on every page, enabling display enlargement, high contrast, grayscale, a readable font, link highlighting, stopping animations and an enlarged cursor. Full details below.
• Support for all screen sizes - the layout adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop, and does not require horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

We present a full picture, including what has not yet been completed:

• Completing an order on WhatsApp - the payment step is done in the WhatsApp app, an external service that is not under our control and is not our responsibility in terms of accessibility. If WhatsApp is not convenient for you, the order can be completed in a regular phone call to 054-4649767, with identical terms and prices.
• Content on social networks - videos and content published on our Instagram and TikTok pages are hosted on external platforms, whose accessibility level is determined by them.
• Product names in English - the product names appear in English, as their brand names. A full description in Hebrew accompanies every product.

The adjustments menu on the site

In the bottom corner of every page there is an accessibility button marked with the international accessibility icon. Clicking it opens a personal adjustments menu that includes:

• Display enlargement in six steps, from 100% to 200%.
• High contrast - black on white, with links in a distinct, bold colour.
• Grayscale - full removal of colour, for the convenience of those for whom colours are difficult.
• Readable font - switching to a font without decoration and with regular letter spacing.
• Highlight links - underline and a frame around every link on the site.
• Stop animations - disabling all movement and transitions on the page.
• Large mouse cursor - an enlarged, high-contrast cursor.
• Reset - returning to the default settings in one click.

The menu is built inside the site itself and is not an external service. It does not collect information about you and does not send data to any party: the preferences are saved in your browser only and are loaded automatically on your next visit. The menu does not override the accessibility settings of your operating system or browser, and if you have already set reduced motion or high contrast there, the site honours them from the outset.
